Area of special interest: Arthroscopy, this kind of surgery is similar to laparoscopic surgeries and is currently the latest and most upcoming field in orthopedics. In this we enter various joint of body like - knee, shoulder, ankle through a key hole (3-4mm) and visualize the whole joint through endoscope. We do various procedures through another similar size key hole.
Advantage of this procedure is - no stitches or just one stitch, no scar, minimal pain, minimal hospital stay (most often pt. need not stay in hospital - discharged same day).
I do various procedures for knee pain & instability, locking, crepitation, early arthritis, shoulder pain, dislocation, ankle pain, etc.
I also do all kinds of complicated fractures fixations, including spine trauma and disc pathologies.
I have performed numerous cases of hip & knee replacements.
I also do hand surgery cases including flaps, tendon transfers.
