R. K. Netralaya was established in Nov’1989 by Dr. R . K . Ojha. Dr. R. K. Ojha, MBBS, MS (BHU) (phaco-surgeon, glaucoma, LASIK and medical retina) started with very basic facilities at Motijheel, Mehmoorganj, Varanasi. Three years back, he established a fully equipped super-specialty Eye Hospital at Dayal Enclave, Mehmoorganj, Varanasi. With his passion for modernization and the uses of the latest technology for provideing quality services, he had brought the first Phaco machine to Varanasi (and Eastern UP) in 1995. More recently he has brought the firse Wavelight EX500 LASIK machine in the whole of UP in 2012. The hospital is a beacon of excellience with all faculty coming from either BHU or AIIMS, New Delhi.
